Account & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Settings → Subscription or visit the Pricing page from the sidebar. Click 'Start 7-Day Free Trial' to begin your Pro subscription. You won't be charged during the trial.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your data is never deleted. You'll keep full access to all your festivals on every plan. Your financial data and documents are preserved.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — we offer a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment, no questions asked. Contact support@beforethebooth.com.

How do I change my email or password?

Go to Settings → Profile to update your name, email, and business information. To change your password, use the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page.

Festivals & Tracking

How many festivals can I track?

All plans include unlimited festival tracking. Add as many as you need!

Can I import festivals from a spreadsheet?

Yes! On the Festivals page, click the import button to upload a CSV file. Before The Booth will map the columns to the appropriate fields.

What do the different statuses mean?

Researching = you're considering applying. Applied = application submitted. Waitlisted = on the wait list. Accepted = you're in! Completed = festival is done. Rejected = not accepted this time. Cancelled = you or the organizer cancelled.

How do I add expenses to a festival?

Edit any festival and go to the Fees tab. You can add application fees, booth fees, hotel costs, and custom expenses. Each expense can be marked as paid or unpaid.

How do I record sales after a festival?

Edit the festival and go to the Sales tab (Pro feature). Enter your daily sales amounts. Before The Booth calculates profit/loss automatically.

Features & Functionality

How do deadline reminders work?

Go to Settings → Notifications to enable email reminders. You can choose to be reminded 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days before each application deadline.

Can I export my data?

Pro subscribers can export their festival data as a CSV file from the Festivals page using the export button.

How does document parsing work?

Upload an acceptance letter or application confirmation, and Before The Booth will attempt to extract festival details like dates, booth information, and fees automatically.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure password hashing, and database-level access controls. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
